Foreclosure deeds
There were 323 foreclosure deeds recorded in May 2010. While still a record high for that month, this is the second monthly decline in a row and an increase of less than 10% over foreclosure deeds recorded in May 2009. This trend suggests that banks are working through the surplus inventory of foreclosures in process in early 2010. Nonetheless, we are on track to experience another record year of foreclosures in New Hampshire.
